Sal Restivo
In loving memory of Sal Restivo, friend to all the animals and volunteers of Wag On Inn Rescue.

Peaches
Peaches brought joy into my life from the moment our eyes met. She was a happy-go-lucky pup and just what I needed....I lost both my parents in the last 5 years, Peaches eased my pain and depression, she gave me a sense of purpose. She had the perfect temperment, what she lacked in training, she made up for with kisses... I am so sorry beautiful girl, I will sorely miss your smiling eyes.....My Rescue dog, Rescued me

Mickey
Mickey came into our lives last March. He was a ten year old beautiful ,white shih tzu /bichon mix who would light up the room. He was so cute, and ,we always joked how Mickey looked like a baby seal. He was a special little guy who was more like a puppy then the senior he was. Mischievous streak? You bet. He'd gather all the soft toys and hide them behind the couch so our other dog, Molly, couldn't get to them. Sweet? You would be hard pressed to find a dog sweeter than our Mickey. He stayed by your side and was always game for a snuggle and a belly rub. Mickey was very well behaved, He loved to go for walks and really loved his blue ball that his foster mom, Lauren, gave him. Mickey was pretty much up for anything at anytime! His energy was endless. Even though we only had him for less than a year, Mickey was a loved part of our family from the moment he stepped through our door. There was no adjustment period. He fit right in and stole our hearts. Mickey's illness was sudden and heartbreaking. We lost him on December 31, 2010. We feel blessed that this little guy was a part of our lives, although wish we had more time with him. We are grateful that we were given the privilege of adopting Mickey and hope he knew just how much we adored him.---The Giglio Family

Dalai Lama
Dalai Lama came to me as a rescue at age 2. She was called 'Dolly' when I got her but I changed her name to 'Dalai Lama',. She had this wonderful 'apple' face. Her eye was damaged when I got her. I tried for a year to maintain it even though she was blind in that eye. After multiple infections that the vet said would continue, it was decided to remove the eye. She never missed it. She remained her a barreled shape and apple faced beauty. She loved visiting grandma because she fed her all she wanted. She died a month after grandma. They are both missed but are together in heaven together I hope. (of course if she is in heaven with mom she'll have to compete with Fritz, Baron, Chita, Clancy, Norman and Ginger the 'other' McCarthy dogs. It must be heaven if they are all there together) Regina McCarthy

Flame
Flame passed away at home on August 31, 2009. He was almost 13 years old. Although he never won any competitions, he was always a champion to us. Flame reminded me about the simple things in life - chasing the light "fairies", walking in the rain, running in the yard, digging in the snow, and the joy of a big doggie grin. I always felt secure when he spent his vacations at Wag On Inn with Adrienne and the wonderful volunteers. As Flame aged and standing became more difficult, he still followed us around. In addition, we would like to thank Dr. Cohen for saving Flame's life and giving us another 2 years with our boy. Flame will always live in our hearts. The Hendels
