Sal Restivo
In loving memory of Sal Restivo, friend to all the animals and volunteers of Wag On Inn Rescue.

Sapphire
Sapphire Jeanette Davis was a beautiful young, 4 1/2 years young cat. Her fur was like mink and her purr was as soothing as a mountain stream. We loved her very much. She was born in the wild to Claudia Ann Davis, who sadly passed one year ago in February. Sapphire passed on due to her having a freak accident in our home, just like her mother before her. April 3, 2008 marks the day she died, but Sapphire will stay in our hearts forever. She was a beauty and full of smarts and grace. She was dainty and agile... a real athlete who loved to watch the Cat Video at night and perch herself on the cat windows by day. She was a jumper, a coureous young lady and the only one who loved to watch me vacuum without fear. We will miss your beauty and your presence. Rest in peace my Sapphie Girl. Jody Davis and family

Shelby (Diamond Too)
Shelby brought so much joy to my life the moment I picked her up from Wag on in Rescue. Upon entering her new home 5 years ago Shelby was wagging her tail and was immediately settled into her new home. She was the perfect pet for me. We would go on 4 to 5 walks a day and she loved each and every one. It took her a few minutes to warm up to strangers, however, once she knew they were my friends she became best friends with them. Shelby made non dog lovers into dog lovers. Shelby also loved to sleep in my bed and the spare bed. She loved to spread out and sleep. She ate the best foods, had the best snacks and had the best person looking out for her. She was a joy to be around. Everyone who came across Shelby loved her. She will be missed by everyone. I will miss her the most and will never forget her. I am grateful that Shelby came into my life and she was worth every second of my time. She always brought a smile to my face and I know she was extremely happy in the Troy household. We all miss you Shelby. Ed, Amy and Gabby.

Sophie Alana Davis
Our beloved rescue dog, Sophie, passed away today at 12:26 A.M. from a brain tumor. She had no symptoms and suddenly had multiple seizures at 3 AM on July 29,2012. Despite the Vet Hospital's valiant attempt to save her, she passed on at 12: 26 A.M. today. Sophie was a stray in Trenton, N.J. and was bound for the shelter when we saved her. She was our little, starving street urchin that crossed the right street at the right moment and changed our lives forever. Sophie was two years old when we saved her and lived a perfect fairy tale for 7 yrs. with us. She died a pain free and peaceful death, befitting her gentle soul. Sophie loved everyone and even went into nursing homes and assisted living places, wagging her tail and showing off her sweet self. She loved to go to the park daily or just sit in the sun in our house or yard. Sophie never soiled in the house from the day we found her and never destroyed a single thing. She was quiet, loving, and most of all...our little girl. She will be missed by anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her. She was tucked into bed and had her teeth brushed every night, while we sang her the Sophie lullybye...You are my Sophie, my little Sophie, you are my sweetheart that I love, you are my good girl, you are my sweet girl, oh I love my Sophie in every way.... By the end of the song, she was fast asleep. Now, with all of our wonderful memories of a perfect dog, one that would have surely been put to sleep at the shelter for being a stray Pit Bull, we say farewell and hope that you are running in the fields with our other rescue dog, Robin, who passed over the Rainbow Bridge in Sept., 2008. We will meet again, someday. Love you, our little Petunia, and rest in peace. For a video of Sophie Alana made by her mom, go to: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vj9Ag5GuQ6U
