General Sponsors help fund Wag On Inn where we need it most. Transportation, Medical Care, Supplies, Food, etc. The costs all add up. Our general sponsors help where we need it most. You can specify "general sponsor" to help where we need it most. You can also sponsor under the "general sponsor" heading in honor of or in memory of a person. All of our general sponsors are listed below.
"Pulling" animals from a high kill shelter and transporting them up to NJ gets expensive. Consider donating specifically towards this need. By helping sponsor transport fees, we can help more animals come to us and to safety instead of being put to sleep. This goes for puppies as well as dogs. They are put to sleep in over crowded shelters. We need your help to save their lives. If you can't have a pet, or you are already at your limit consider making a donation and help save a life. We will add you to the list below if you'd like to make a general donation.
If you would like to sponsor a specific puppy/dog that is already in our care, please specify that you would like to "sponsor_______" your name will appear as a sponsor of that animal on that animals webpage.

The Honey Fund was created when we had a dog that we took in and she had a medical crisis (See link "Honey Needs Your Help!). Everyone banded together and we paid Honey medical bills. In honor of Honey's courage and with gratitude to all who donated towards her medical needs, the Honey Fund was established to help specifically with major medical needs should they arrise.

Donation made for transport to save the lives of those who would have otherwise perished. Donation made in loving memory of Bella Gnassi, beloved dog and friend and faithful companion of Adrienne Gnassi and loving friend and ambassador to all the dogs at Wag On Inn Rescue. Bella was rescued by Adrienne over five years ago from the Humane Society. Bella was going to be put down and Adrienne saved her. For the past five years, Bella has lived a wonderful life as the chief representative of all the dogs at the rescue. She was gentle, sweet, kind and just an adorable friend to all the people and dogs at the rescue. Bella had a deep bark that just meant, "Hello", and was just a gentle giant. People of all ages loved her, as we all did at the rescue. She will be sorely missed by us all. Rest in peace, Bella the Beautiful. You have earned the respect and admiration of all who knew you. Love, hugs and kisses, Jody Davis and Family
Donation made for transport to save the lives of others and to honor the memory of Sierra Fantasia Card, beloved rescued dog and member of the family of Laurie Fantasia Card and Bobby Card. Sierra was a lucky girl to be loved by her wonderful family and gave her love, in her own special and smart way, to her family. She was a rescued dog, one that others would have denied the opportunity to be in a home, to feel the love and joy of a family. In return, Sierra was grateful and loving. She was a beauty, full of grace with her long, flowing fur. Sierra was a smart and loyal companion and a very special girl. Her life was full, thanks to the Fantasia Card family and now, may she rest in peace over the rainbow bridge. Much Love, Jody Davis
Donation is made by Jody Davis and family in loving memory of a very special dog, Teddy. Teddy was adopted from Wag On Inn Rescue by Betty and Don Patterson, the parents of our wonderful volunteers Janice Fisher and her husband Dave Fisher. Teddy was a most special dog at Wag On Inn Rescue. He was 7 years of age when he came to us. We tried for almost a year to find him a forever home. Then, one day, I responded to a call. A call that would shape Teddy's life for the rest of his years. It was a call from Betty Patterson. She was a lovely woman who was searching for an older dog, one that would be loving, smart and friendly. She and her husband had been searching for a while and we spoke at length about Teddy. We called him Bear at the rescue but his full name was Teddy Bear. Thus, the name Teddy. He was a very smart dog, a good dog, and a most loyal dog. Little did we know that he would bring so much love and loyalty to both Betty and Don. It was with great joy that we have heard through the years how much Teddy was loved by Betty and Don and how Don and Teddy formed a very special bond that brought Don through hard times since the loss of his beloved wife, Betty. Teddy had a wonderful life with them and he will be greatly missed by all of us at the rescue that knew him and loved him. He had a very special place in my heart as well. His crate was next door to my sweet Snoopy, also a Wag On Inn Rescue graduate, and I enjoyed walking Teddy when he lived at the rescue. He loved the Nylabones that I used to buy him. He always had such bright, sweet eyes and a very handsome face. Teddy would look at you and knew what you were saying. He loved his cookies. He sat nicely and proudly. He was always very happy to see me and the other volunteers and loved his walks. He also loved his car rides with me in my van. On the day prior to his adoption, Teddy went with me in my van to the groomer. We hoped and prayed that this would be it--his forever home, and so we wanted him to look his most handsome self. His life prior to the Patterson's was not easy but once they came into his life, he lived life to its fullest, with such affection and attention showered upon him. Don gave him wonderful medical care, especially since Teddy was diabetic in his later years. Don was with him to the end and that was a most noble death for such a loyal and loving companion. Rest in peace, sweet Teddy. We have cheered you on for years in your success at finding such a wonderful forever home. You deserved it. With love, Jody Davis and family

Almost 13 years ago Robin came into your life and he changed it drastically. He brought you a joy you never thought possible. With his sweet face and loving personality he touched everyone. When we first met him, he would give us a gentle kiss and show his affection to all. Wherever you took him he stood out. He was always by your side and welcomed by all. He loved riding in the car with you, going to Starbuck's for frothee, taking long walks in the park, taking pictures at the beach, going to visit Dad at Care One and just so many more memorable outtings. He loved having his picture taken and it always seemed he was smiling. Although this is a difficult time, you know he was given a wonderful life, better and more complete than the average dog. We all loved him and will miss him very much.
Love always,
Margie, Eddy, Jenna, Jeffrey, Dara, Grandma, Willy, Lexi, Otis, Sofia, and Grandpa, Uncle Alan and Jeremy in Heaven

Donation made by Jody and Ken Davis and family in loving memory of Claudia Ann Davis, feral mother cat to our beautiful kittens. Claudia suffered briefly from an untimely death but her loving, sweet nature demonstrates how patience and time can change a feral cat into a domesticated family member. If you accepted Claudia on her terms, and let her seek you out, she was the most purring, beautiful long haired tuxedo mommy cat that anyone could hope to see transform. Donation is made to sponsor transport to rescue those animals that would otherwise have no chance of survival and no chance of a loving home.

THIS DONATION IS MADE IN THE MEMORY OF ROBIN RABIN SABRA DAVIS, A DOG AS MAGNIFICENT AS HIS NAME. WE WERE LUCKY ENOUGH TO RECEIVE SOME OF THE KINDNESS AND LOVE THIS DOG EXPRESSED FOR HIS HUMANS. MY FAVORITE MEMORY IS THOSE WONDERFUL LICKS WHICH I KNEW WERE NOT GIVEN EASILY. HOW PROUD AND WARM A FEELING I WOULD GET TO GET THOSE KISSES...WITHOUT A TREAT NO LESS. THOSE EARS, THOSE EARS. I LOVED THOSE EARS...WHAT A PRESENCE. I ALWAYS SAID THAT ROBIN WAS A GENTLEMAN, HE JUST HAD THAT KIND OF AURA AROUND HIM. THIS DONATION IS MINISCULE COMPARED TO HIS PROUD SPIRIT.
