Peluche is a 1-year-old Shih Tzu/ Chihuahua mix who arrived from Puerto Rico on Friday, 3/27. Peluche was a little timid at first, but once he was comfortable, he's been enjoying himself in his foster home.
Peluche's a nice dog who has been good with the other dogs in his foster home. He has done a little running with the others, but hasn't done any wild playing yet. He loves toys and will make a little pile of them.
Peluche has been very calm so far, and he really enjoys sitting in a lap. He loves attention and petting. Peluche likes to go for walks, and is especially enjoying long beach walks.
Peluche is almost housetrained; we're working on it, and he's doing very well!
Peluche initially slept nicely in a crate overnight in the bedroom with his foster family, but now he sleeps in bed with everyone.
Peluche weighs just under 10 lbs.
He is up-to-date with his vaccines, and tested negative for heartworm and tick-borne diseases.
Peluche's adoption fee is $350.
