Itsy came to us from an overcrowded shelter in Tennessee. He was left in the overnight drop pen by his owners. He is a cuddly dog who craves attention. He loves to be picked up and is great with everyone.
Itsy was adopted but his family doesn't feel comfortable with a new grandchild living in the home, so he's looking for a new family. He needs a home with another small-to-medium sized, active dog so that he can release all his energy. I'm not sure how he'd be with toddlers - it's probably best to have older children only, or a very experienced dog home if there are very young children. He has been fine with neighborhood children in his foster home.
Itsy enjoys the other dogs in his foster home. He does play pretty roughly so he would be best with dogs his size or larger. He is good about sharing toys with everyone.
Itsy is housetrained; he uses the doggie door to go outside on his own and we get the dogs out frequently. He now sleeps in bed with us at night.
Itsy enjoys going for walks, and likes lots of attention from people. He IS a terrier, and therefore needs lots of exercise and playtime.
