Gus is an adorable pup who is looking for a new home. He's about 6 months old and weighs about 11 lbs. Gus is now in a NJ foster home.
Gus came to our partner rescue from a hoarder/backyard breeder. He's enjoying tearing around the yard running with the other young dogs in his foster home. He's happy to have doggie friends, and doesn't bother the older dogs. We've been told that he's cat-friendly as well. After playing, he's been good about just hanging out and napping. Gus is very sociable and jumps on people to say hello. He's been great with the neighbor kids - wanting to give them lots of kisses.
He's very good in a crate in the car and overnight. We're working on his housetraining.
Gus is neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. His adoption fee is $550.
Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through, they deserve a loving, committed home.
