Lots of vendors, crafts, silent auction, food, and fun! Truly a community event, the Fair offers something for everyone. Admission is free and families can enjoy a petting zoo, balloons, cotton candy for sale and face painting, with many games and a children’s chance auction. Fair goers seeking unique treasures can bid on the Silent Auction items and the line for the famous White Elephant sale begins to form early in the morning before the Fair opens. Other items for sale include jewelry, plants and flowers, electronics, sporting goods, gently used children’s clothing and children’s games, books, and more books. Baked goods and coffee are available in the Tea Garden, chutneys and other delights from Canterbury Kitchen, and hamburgers and hot dogs are served hot off the grill. For the gourmet crowd, a lobster salad lunch is available for purchase in advance of the Fair, with walk-in orders being accepted until sold out. New this year, Wag On Inn pet rescue will be there with some wonderful canine friends.
