Walter came to us from Puerto Rico, where he was found, all matted and very scared, under a shed. He was very happy to be rescued and lived in Puerto Rico in a foster home for 3 months before coming to NJ. He was well-loved there, and even has a facebook fan club! Walter is about 3 years old.

Walter loves people and gets very excited to get attention. He loves to be in laps and to get belly rubs. If you want a constant companion, Walter's the dog for you!

Walter is enjoying playing with the other dogs in his foster home. He likes to run and enjoys sniffing around the yard, too. He walks pretty nicely on leash, but does pull some, so he needs some work. Walter enjoys his walks in the neighborhood. He has enjoyed greeting children. He's very good at outreaches, meeting lots of new people. We were told that he was good with cats when he was in Puerto Rico.
