Yoda is the cutest girl! Sadly, she is only one year old and has already had two families lose interest in her. She is very energetic and neither family had the time or inclination to keep her busy. Instead, she was crated most of the time and therefore was even more energetic (wild!) when she was finally let out. She wasn't destructive, but was just wild and not housetrained.
Yoda is being fostered in Monmouth County NJ, and is being a very good girl in her foster home. She has lots of doggie company and goes for walks and gets lots of playtime. She loves playing in the pool. As a result of all the exercise, she's acting like a normal dog for us. She's just a dog who needs to be able to burn off some of that energy. She's even doing well with her housetraining.

We will only place Yoda in a home with at least one other dog, where someone's around most of the time to continue her housetraining, and where she'll get a lot of exercise. We don't want her to "fail" again. A new home with a doggie door and a fenced-in yard would be perfect for her, too. We'd prefer her to stay in the area if at all possible.

Yoda has been great with kids and loves to play.
