Patsy is a one-year-old dog who came to us from Puerto Rico. We have been describing her as a Puggle with long legs, but we were told that she looks like a Jug - which is a Jack Russell/ Pug mix. Supposedly she is a perfect specimen of a Jug! Whatever she is, she is a cutie with her underbite and black mask.

Patsy is a lively girl who loves to play. She especially enjoys running around the yard with the other dogs in her foster home. She is often the ringleader.

Patsy has been friendly with everyone she meets. On her second day in NJ, she romped around the yard with neighborhood kids and then went for a walk with them. She was rolling around with some of them, just wanting lots of pets! She is energetic so she is probably not for toddlers - she'd knock them down. Patsy is very friendly and jumps to say hi (we're working on that!) She is just so happy to get loving! She especially loves kids and sits right on them and leans against them for pets and hugs.

Her housetraining is going very well! She sleeping very nicely in her crate at night.

Patsy met cats at an adoption outreach and she was very calm around them.

I added a video of her playing tug with some of the neighborhood kids - she would be great fun for an active family!

Patsy has been playing fetch lately - bringing the ball back and dropping it at your feet. Pretty impressive!

At the end of the day, she's happy to sit in your lap or just snuggle. We often find her curled up in a dog bed with another dog or two.

She has been to Adoption Outreaches and has made lots of new friends - human and canine and feline. She spent a lot of time in laps, just getting petted by all.

Patsy loves long walks on the beach.
