Meet Indigo—a one year old terrier mix who came to us from a NJ kill shelter.  They had her there for 3 months in a tiny, cramped crate and her time was up.  We couldn't let that happen to such a nice girl! 

Despite her shelter history, Indigo is a sweet, inquisitive dog.  She LOVES to hug and give kisses and likes children, people and dogs.  She is living with cats in her foster home. Indigo likes to play ball.

Indigo is housetrained and weighs about 40 lbs - she's petite.

Indigo is delighted to get out of the shelter and is calm and good natured.  She did very well at the outreach yesterday. 

Indigo would love a yard to run in and to finally be the puppy she wasn’t allowed to be.
