Hello world!! My name is Vanilla...if you see my one front leg it is as if I dipped it in some Vanilla!!

I arrived here in NJ from a high-kill shelter in NC on 9/29. I was flown here by some wonderful volunteers from a group called Pilots N' Paws. They have rescued lots of cute pups like me. Thankfully, Wag On Inn Rescue took me in from there, and I am now living in a foster home, and lucky to be alive! You see when I got here to NJ I was very sick with an awful virus. My foster mom and a wonderful vet took round-the-clock care of me, and I am all better! I need a little more time in my foster home to get stronger and put some weight on. The doctor says I will be ok and can start looking for my forever home now. Could it be you??

I am a sweet gentle girl. I love everyone I meet. I live in a home with children, a dog and cats. The cats aren't too crazy about me, but I don't bother them. I am learning how to walk on a leash. With the lead of my foster doggie sister, I do a great job! I am crate trained and housebroken. Don't I sound just perfect?
