Hi there! I just arrived from North Carolina, was spayed and microchipped, and am already so grateful for all the help in getting me here - where I'm safe and will have a new family soon.

I'm a happy-go-lucky, dark-chocolate pretty lady waiting for my forever home. In the meantime, I play with my foster family's dogs all day, and become a true cuddle bug at night.  I love playing with all the doggie toys; sometimes I even tease the other dogs with them but they know it is all in good fun.  I make my foster mommy laugh a lot.  She knows that I am so trusting and that I like to show my gratitude with lots of kisses.

Even though I still have the playful puppy in me, I am a fast learner.  I am housetrained, I am learning to walk on a leash, I have recently learned whtat the word "sit" means, and I've learned other basic commands as well.

I do like to chase squirrels, so a fenced-in yard that will keep me safe is a must.

I love people, dogs, and children. What I can't get enough of is love and attention.
