McKenzi is a 6-month-old long-haired boy.  His foster mom says:

"McKenzi is very shy at first and will try to hide when meeting someone new, but he quickly comes around in a few minutes.  He is getting along great with the other dogs in my home.  I think he will be fine in a home with or without other dogs, but another dog around helps him overcome his timidness quicker as he is not shy with other dogs.  Once he sees one of the other dogs do something he knows it’s okay and follows them, so he is learning from them.   

He was very good for his bath, and LOVES LOVES LOVES to be brushed!  He is using the doggie door and has not had any accidents in the house. 

He seems to be a picky eater and I haven’t found a snack he likes yet, but he does like rawhides.  He also likes to play with the stuffed animal toys.  Even though he is playful with the other dogs, he seems to be pretty low key and not too high-energy. 

McKenzi is still just learning  what it’s like to be in a loving caring environment and needs a home where someone is willing to be a little patient with him and continue to show him that."
