Wiggles is called "Scruffy McWiggles" by his foster dad, Scruffy for short.  He looks like Tramp in "Lady and the Tramp" to us!  He has some kind of wire-haired terrier in him (Jack Russell?), and is a petite guy at 28 lbs.  He won't get much larger.  Scruffy has a dappled coat - we almost called him "Camo".

Scruffy is an adorable puppy who was found abandoned in an empty home in North Carolina.  Lucky Scruffy was rescued and made his way to NJ, where he's happy in his new foster home. 

Scruffy gets along with everyone.  He's a happy-go-lucky puppy who loves to play with dogs and people.  He likes to run and chase dogs and/or balls.  He will sometimes play "fetch" - if he doesn't get distracted.  He has been very well-behaved in the house so far - he is already housetrained!  He learned the doggie-door within a day - what a smart boy!  He now sleeps in bed with everyone at night, and is quiet as a mouse all night long.

Scruffy would love to have another dog around who will play with him.  He really enjoys doggie company.

He went to a Wag On Inn fundraising event this past weekend, and he greeted everyone happily.  Someone called him "the Mayor", because he made sure he said hi to, and played with, everyone he met.

Poor Scruffy seems to have had some ear trauma on one ear - it's going to always be a little deformed.  But it doesn't hurt him at all, and the different ears give him a very cute look!

He's really a perfect dog in every way.
