My name is Kora and I'd like to introduce myself to you. I'm a good girl that has had a hard life. See, I was picked up as a stray and the day after I arrived i had three babies. Then a week later, someone left three puppies at the shelter that were just a week old. It's true, they just left them there....so I took them in as my own. Because we were in a shelter, my kids caught a cold and one of my pups didn't make it but the rest of us got to go to New Jersey. I'm in a foster home with other dogs and my pups and I'm a good girl. I LOVE men. I really do. I'm nice to the ladies too. Oh....wait let me back it up a little bit. The day before we left for New Jersey, my owner called the shelter for me. The shelter told them i was there, I had to be treated for heartworm,  but leaving for rescue in the morning. The owner said that was good cause she didn't want me and she sure wasn't going to treat me for any heartworms, I was just a stupid dog and she didn't want me killed. Well.....my foster family says I'm a smart dog. A loving and gentle girl and very smart. They say I'll make a great companion in almost any home. I do have to be treated for heartworm, but don't let that stop you. If you live in Monmouth County or close enough to drop me off for my treatments, you can foster me until I'm well and then adopt me leagal like, so I can be your best girl the rest of my days.
