When she was only 4 months old, Nena was found abandoned on Dead Dog Beach in Puerto Rico - a very scared little baby.  She was taken in by a local rescue and then came to NJ to her Wag On Inn foster home.

Nena can be a little leery of people at first, but she warms up.  She is a goofy, fun-loving dog who loves to play and just wants to have fun.  Watch the 3rd video to see her playing on a visit to another foster home - she likes to spread her love! 

We are not sure what breed(s) Nena is, but she has a whippet/greyhound-shaped body, and she can run really fast.

Nena can be an only dog, but better yet, since she's a little skittish she'd do well with a canine companion to show her how good a dog's life really is.  Plus, it would make her happy - she just loves to play with the other dogs.  You can see her playing in the 2nd video with her new friend Becky, who was also being fostered by Wag On Inn.  You can also see snippets of her playing with Holly and Honey, two other Wag On Inn foster dogs, on their pages.

Nena is crate-trained; she's working on her housetraining. 

When Nena was four months old and rescued, she became a movie star. She is the last story on the 1st video.....  Now she's 11 months old and her hair and skin are perfect.

Nena is the perfect girl for a family that will be a little patient with her initial skittishness.
