Hello!  Want to be my friend?  My name is Winchester but my loving foster mommy calls me Winston and I have had a hard life but I am a most forgiving dog.  I am 7 years young and am a strikingly beautiful, stately Collie boy looking for a better life...a second chance to live the life I deserve to have.  You see, my foster mommy thinks that I spent a great deal of time on a chain.  Why anyone would do that to me is beyond reason.  I am a gentle soul...one who will stand by you, cuddle with you, put my beautiful muzzle right on your lap and want to just lay there with you...forever.  I am thin and the hair around my neck is worn...most likely from being leashed and chained.  I am resilient...I forgive...I bounce back.  I get along very well with other dogs...large and small.  You see, I want to be loved and I hope you love me back.  I am a quiet boy and sometimes I get a little startled by loud noises but not for long.  I am OK and have already learned to be more relaxed in my foster home.  I just want a family to love.  I walk very gracefully on a leash so, please, take me along...show me the world.  I want to see it.  If you are a kind person looking for a great family dog, then here I am.  If you are a person who lives alone and wants a constant companion, here I am.  If you are a couple looking for a walking buddy or a car ride back seater, here I am.
