Hi everyone! My name is Gator. I am quite handsome and I am an American Staffordshire Terrier Pit Bull mix. I am a really gentle soul who needs a new home. You see, my family was told that they had to leave their rental house because they were not buying it and now, because they are renting an apartment, they cannot take me or my daddy, Bane! It is an awful situation for all of us. They really love us but they tried hard to find an apartment that would allow us to join them. Now, sadly, I need to find a new home and so does my dad, Bane. I am really great with other dogs, adults and with children, big and small. The folks here at the hospital think that I am so gentle that I could even be a therapy dog! I would love that because I love to be with people. I am three years old, housebroken,crate trained, neutered, up to date on all of my vaccinations, and walk nicely on a leash. I can snuggle with you all day! I like car rides, too! I would love to be adopted with my dad, Bane, if you can, but if not, it is OK to adopt me separately. I am that good! My mom and dad have a very small baby and I am really good with the baby, too! See, I am strong and smart,loyal and loving. I am good in any home except I am not sure about cats. I do not hurt them but sometimes I like to chase them to play with them. Other than that, I am a great, great dog, so please help me...won't you?
