Hello, folks!  Are you looking for a lovebug of a doggie?  Are you looking for a friendly guy who is good with everyone?  Well, here I am!  My name is Dax and I am a gentle little Dachshund boy who is looking to steal your heart.  I am very good with adults, children, dogs and even cats!  I walk nicely on a leash and am potty trained.  I like car rides, walks, and would love my forever home.  I would really appreciate it if you apply to adopt me, Dax, at:  www.wagoninn.rescuegroups.org and go to website features, forms and applications and please fill out an adoption application asking for me by name, Dax...that great little Doxie boy who will promise to give you lots of love and kisses!  Many thanks!

Dax is a very friendly, smart and faithful dog. He is adaptable. He'll curl up anywhere
to take a nap, his favorite place is the couch. He doesn't mind meeting
new people or pets that are in the home already, but
needs a steady relationship with his caregivers.
Dax travels very well and likes going in the car.

Dax is healthy, his coat shiny and a handsome red color. He has a
good appetite, a neat eater and likes snacks for being a good boy!
He likes the attention paid to him and he rewards you with kisses.
.

Dax prefers to be with people at night when he sleeps, but has adjusted to being
crated at night to sleep.
Family and friends that have met Dax have complimented on what
a calm, friendly dog he is. He would be a fine pet in a home
where people  have extra time to pay attention to him and
not be too busy to walk him sit next to him on the couch or cuddle with him.
He would be best in a home where people are looking for a companion
versus in a home with very young children, where Mom and Dad are
very busy with them and have little time for Dax.
