D.C. (Darn Cute?) is a purebred Brussels Griffon who came from a shelter in Tennessee.  She came with her sister Sadie, who's been adopted.

DC lives to be held and cuddled.  She loves to sit in your lap or lie right next to you on the couch.  DC gives lots of kisses in return for a little love.  She's a very sweet girl.

DC is well behaved in the house and housetrained.  She enjoys walks.  She has been very good in a multiple-dog household, but she's not too interested in playing with the energetic ones.  She seems to know "sit", "down", and even "roll over" -- but she might just be doing those "tricks" to get her belly rubbed, which she loves.

DC was just groomed at the Dawg Joint in Asbury Park, and she looks like a new dog!  She even seems to be happier to have less hair in this hot weather!  Attached are photos of her before and after her haircut.  She looks like a puppy with her short "do".

There is a video of her before her haircut and one after.  In the latter, she is at a pug play group.  She almost fits in, with her cute little monkey face!  DC was a big hit at the gathering, both with the dogs and the humans.
