Hello everybody! I made it! I made it to safety and now I am here in New Jersey! My name is Raven and I am a lovely, gentle, quiet, sweet, affectionate Sato girl from the streets of Puerto Rico. I am just twenty pounds of love and loyalty. I am very good with other dogs, am housebroken, enjoy my crate and keep it nice and clean, and I love to be with you! I am just two years old and life has been very hard for me on the streets of Puerto Rico. But, you would never know it because I am the most forgiving, caring young lady who will follow you around the house and sit on your lap as much as you want! After arriving my foster family found out that I have an old injury that needed surgery. Can't tell you what happened, perhaps I was hit by something or a car or maybe I jumped and dislocated my hip, but however it happened, I had to have surgery which will make me good as new. My friends think I'm worth it since I'm such a sweet heart! Anyway, wanted to tell you that I'm recovering nicely and using my leg more and more! Want to donate to my medical care? I love to play with other toys and share my toys with my friends like a very good young lady. I am good with children but prefer to be in a home with children age 9 and older because I am on the small side and not used to little children. I would love to be with a person or family that can be with me as much as they would like and when they are not home, I can just curl up in my crate, or on a nice doggie bed, awaiting your return. I would prefer being left alone for no more than 5 hours or so, simply because I enjoy your company. If you have another dog, that sure would be nice, too! So you see, I am hoping that my luck continues to change for the better and that some kind person or family gives me my forever home. I have waited and hoped for a home of my own for so long and sure do hope it is soon.
