Aren't I just the cutest girl? I'm 11 months old, and they tell me I'm a Scottie/Italian Greyhound mix. I do have the glossy hair of a Scottie, and the long legs of an IG. So maybe that's true - but whatever I am, I am very pretty.
I was born in a puppy mill in VA, where I didn't get to meet any nice people at all. Some nice people rescued me and sent me to a foster home in NJ to find a loving home. I have already made lots of new friends - adults, children, and dogs, and I'm very happy to be out of my prison. I have suddenly come out of my shell and I am having so much fun! I'm playing with the other dogs all the time, and have learned to play with toys and people, too. I give lots of kisses so everyone knows how happy I am.
I've made lots of progress and everyone is very proud of me. Now I come when my foster parents call me, because I know good things happen with them. I like to cuddle up next to them on the couch, and snuggle with them in their big bed. I like to give sweet kisses. I even play bow and wiggle around like a real puppy, and it always makes my foster parents smile. I love to go for walks. Today we went to the beach and I was chasing the seagulls - what fun! I like to play "chase" with other dogs, too. My best buddy is another foster dog here, Bingo. We enjoy nibbling on each other and chasing each other around. I am very speedy; no one can catch me!
I'm the perfect dog - I am crate trained, of course, having lived in a cage my whole life. But now I'm allowed to be loose in the house and if I do have to go inside, I go on a piddle pad. I'm a very smart girl!
I went to an adoption event in Red Bank at the Paw Palace this weekend, and I met lots of nice people. I'm learning that people are great!
I'm being fostered in Shrewsbury NJ. Won't you consider adopting me and giving me a forever home? Please contact Debbie at delsinger@comcast.net.
