Rex is a loving boy who is in need of a new home. Rex is with our partner rescue in Louisiana but can come to NJ if we find a foster or adopter. We do offer a foster-to-adopt trial to approved adopters.

Rex is a playful boy who enjoys fetch and will even bring the ball or toy back! He is cuddly and affectionate and typically sleeps in bed with a member of his foster family at night. He is well behaved and crate trained. Rex loves other dogs and plays well but might be too much for very small dogs. He may guard a higher value items like a bone or treat but overall he does well. His foster family keeps him separate and/or monitored when there are treats or foods around. He loves kisses and belly rubs.

Rex   is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. He tested negative for heartworm. His adoption fee is $450.

Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training   prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
