Sophie is a beautiful lady who is looking for a home. Sophie is with our rescue partner in Louisiana but can come to NJ if we find a foster or adopter. We do offer a foster-to-adopt trial to approved adopters.

Sophie is described as a happy goofball who loves to run and play in the yard. She is a high energy, smart girl. She does like other dogs but plays real hard so she needs a companion who can match her exuberant play. Sophie needs an active home to keep her busy. She needs work on leash training and pulls very hard. She is crate trained but will protest initially before she settles down. She is almost fully housebroken with the ocassional accident if left too long.

Sophie is fixed, up to date on vaccines. Sophie tested positive for  heartworm and has begun treatment. She can come to NJ once treatment is complete - probably in early April. Her adoption fee is $450. 

Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training   prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
