Elly Mae is a pretty pup who is looking for a home. Elly Mae is now in a NJ foster home.
Elly Mae, Jed and Jethro were surrendered to a high kill shelter in Louisiana during the middle of a parvo outbreak. They were semi feral and terrified of meeting people. Their Louisiana foster family has put a lot of time and effort into these pups to get them socialized and more used to meeting new people. They are still timid pups but foster mom says they are the sweetest pups too. They are good with other dogs, cats and older kids too.
Elly Mae especially loves to lie in the crook of your neck and gives the best puppy kisses. Her NJ foster mom says Elly is doing her business outside, sleeping in her crate without a peep, and great with other dogs and kids.
Elly Mae is fixed, up to date on vaccines and tested negative for heartworm. Her adoption fee is $550
.
Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
