Benny is a handsome Shih Tzu who is looking for a new home. Benny is now in a NJ foster home, living his best life!

Benny was surrendered by his owner to our partner rescue in Louisiana when his elderly owner could no longer care for him. Family members took him initially, but were unable to keep him long term. Our partner rescue got him groomed and got him the medical care he needed. Benny is dog and kid friendly.  He loves everyone he meets on our walks, and especially seems to enjoy children. He's a very sweet boy who really likes to cuddle. We haven't seen him with cats, but his Louisiana foster said he's fine with them.

Benny is living with 4 small dogs in his foster home, but he's been fine meeting larger dogs as well.  He is crate trained and non destructive in his foster home. Benny is mostly housetrained, but will potty on pads as well.

Benny is neutered, microchipped and up to date on rabies, DHPP and Bordetella vaccines. He tested negative for heartworm.

His adoption fee is $450.
