Onyx is an pretty pup who is looking for a new home. She came from Louisiana and is currently in a New Jersey foster home.

Onyx is a beautiful girl - she weighed 10 lbs at about 4 months old (which means she shouldn't weigh more than 20 lbs full grown).  She has hints of brown in her coat, and even between some of her toes.

Onyx is a very sweet girl.  She likes to sit in laps and be petted.  She's a big cuddler with children and adults, and happily sleeps in bed with her foster parents and doggie siblings.  Onyx wants LOTS of attention and love!

Onyx can sometimes be a little skittish and shy at first, but she is getting braver every day. She enjoys throwing toys around in the air and chasing them, and loves marrow bones.

Onyx can be a little timid with bigger dogs, but she's getting braver about that, too.  She is enjoying neighborhood walks.

Onyx is not yet housetrained, but we're working on it! She does not like being in a crate at all, and we're working on that, too!

We've been told that she's good with cats.

Onyx is spayed and microchipped and is up to date on rabies, DHPP and Bordetella vaccines. Her adoption fee is $550.
