Athena and her siblings were found after being dumped in southern Louisiana. Our partner rescue took them in and got them healthy and vetted. Her siblings have all been adopted and Athena is waiting for her chance too. She's currently being fostered here in NJ.

Athena's foster mom says she's a s weet, loving, playful, gentle and calm girl! She's  crate trained (sleeps in her crate without a peep), house trained, a great co-pilot on car rides, non destructive in the home and dog friendly!

This gorgeous girl loves tennis balls, being outside, going on walks, being by your side, getting treats and laying on pillows. We're told she will bark at cats.

Athena is one special girl and will really flourish with a family of her own.

Athena is fixed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. She tested negative for heartworm. Her adoption fee is $550.

Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
