Polo is an handsome boy who is looking for a home. Polo came to us from the NYC shelter system where he was surrendered by his family due to an allergy/asthma issue with the child in the home. We are guessing he is a beagle/dachshund mix but we can't be certain.

Polo was terrified at the shelter and overwhelmed with the barking and other dogs. He is doing well in his foster home, enjoying NJ suburbia. Polo is reported to be housebroken and leash trained. We are learning more about him.

Polo is fixed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped. He tested negative for heartworm. His adoption fee is $450. 

Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
