Zoey is an adorable girl who came to us from our partner in North Carolina. She's now in a NJ f
oster home.
Zoey was in a NC shelter with her 2 puppies. Zoey's puppies were rescued, but poor Zoey was left waiting at the shelter. We're so happy she's here in NJ and her foster mom says that she's just perfect! She's so very sweet, and loves to be cuddling on your lap whenever possible. Zoe is dog friendly but she's afraid of cats. This little cutie can be a bit shy at times.
Zoe has a great temperament and has done well with all the dogs she's met. She is very friendly and wiggly with other dogs.
Zoey is not fixed yet but she will be soon and will be microchipped. She is up to date on vaccines. Zoey tested positive for heartworm and will require treatment which includes 30 days of an oral antibiotic, 2 visits to Barnegat Animal Clinic and 30 days of restricted activity. Wag On Inn will pay for her treatment. Her adoption fee is $450.
Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and trainingprior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
