Petey is a handsome boy who is looking for a home. Petey is now in a NJ foster home.

Petey is a sweet, handsome boy who loves everyone and everything. He's never met a stranger! We think Petey has the potential to be a therapy dog with his cool as a cucumber personality. He seems to love humans of all sizes and he is very dog friendly. He did well on his cat test too! 

He's affectionate, loves to be pet and be next to you (he will knock your hand with his long cute snout to keep petting). Petey  does great on a leash and he's h ousetrained. This sweet boy has  playful puppy energy at times but is also very gentle. Jury is out on his breeds - we see hound, whippet or greyhound and maybe pointer.

Petey is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. His adoption fee is $450.

Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
