Angelica is an sweet girl who is looking for a home. Angelica is in a foster home in NJ. We think she is a border collie mix. Her foster family sees some herding instinct in her.

Angelica is friendly, affectionate and playful with her foster family but she is timid with new friends. It takes a little time and patience to befriend this sweet girl but once you do she is your friend forever. While she is in a foster home with kids, since she can be nervous with new friends we think a home with older kids or no kids is best. 

Angelica came to us from a partner shelter in North Carolina. She and her siblings were left in a crate in front of the shelter on Thanksgiving Day. It is likely she and her siblings were the result of an "accidental litter" and Angelica didn't get proper attention and socialization for her first couple of months.

Angelica is microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Angelica is scheduled to be fixed soon. Angelica's adoption fee is $550.

Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require annual veterinary care at a minimum, training, exercise, enrichment, etc. Pet care is not cheap or easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training   prior to adoption. After all these dogs have been through they deserve a loving, committed home.
