Daisy is a beautiful girl who is looking for a home.  Daisy is currently in a foster home in NJ where she is thriving. Daisy is the sweetest, most loving little girl you could imagine.  She's playful, funny, adorable and your constant shadow.  Daisy LOVES people. She is the most social pup we've ever met - the more, the merrier.  Daisy will lie on your chest and just melt right into you ... she can't get close enough. That said, Daisy is NOT a good guard dog ... she does not bark at new people rather she just wiggles her whole butt when they come in the house.

Daisy came to us from the NYC shelter system where she was surrendered by her owner. Daisy needed emergency surgery to remove a bladder stone.  Daisy was released from the hospital and has recovered beautifully.   It is recommended that she have a 6-mo. recheck. Based on the type of bladder stone that Daisy had, she does NOT have a pre-disposition to develop future stones. Daisy's owners said she was about 9 years old.

Daisy would prefer a home with a fenced in yard where she can run around and chase the chipmunks.  Daisy has bouts of energy where she gets the zoomies and will just go.  Daisy loves to play chase with people ... you chase her, she chases you. Daisy has exhibited some resource guarding (with other dogs) over people, food and toys which we are working on. Daisy is very receptive to correction and improves every day.

Although Daisy does live in her foster home with other dog(s), Daisy is fearful of larger dogs.  Slow introductions are always recommended so that she feels comfortable they won't harm her.

Daisy is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Her adoption fee is $300.
