Augie is an energetic 1-2 yr old possible poodle/wheaton mix although his true mix is not known. He weighs 15 lbs , is non shedding and is friendly with people and dogs of all sizes. Augie has never been crated, but has escaped numerous gates; he is currently left alone 8 hrs a day and does not do any damage to the house or demonstrate any separation anxiety. He is good at peeing on a wee pad, but is not fully house trained. Augie currently enjoys doggy daycare several times a week.  He also loves long walks, snuggling, playing fetch with a ball, car rides, puzzle toys and knows many commands- including sit, paw, down, roll over, and drop it. Augie's current family says Augie has shown some guarding behavior, including barking and mouthing/ nipping towards the dad- but only when his mom is in the room. When visitors come over he is fine and when  he is alone with his dad, Augie is fine. Augie would do best in a single person home. Because the family is dealing with an illness, they thought it best to find him a home that he would be more comfortable in.  Augie is neutered, microchipped, and up to date with vaccinations. He would do best in a home with someone able to keep him busy and active.
