Cinnamon and Nutmeg were found as strays in NYC and ended up in the NYC shelter system. The pups began to show signs of illness and tested positive for parvo. NYC reached out for help to save these girls and team WOI sprang into action!
Wag On Inn volunteer Russell picked the girls up in NYC and brought them to Garden State Veterinary Specialists where Dr. Palmer and her team saved our beautiful girls! The intensive treatments and care enabled our beautiful pups to recover fully and they are now thriving in their foster homes. At this age, we believe the girls will do well with cats, dogs and kids. Shepherds are very smart, active breeds and will need training and an active family.
Cinnamon's foster mom says
she's a very sweet puppy who's eager to learn new things. She likes to lie down next to her foster mom while she's cooking, etc. She's pad trained and now working on house training.
Cinnamon is microchipped and has received initial puppy vaccines. Her adopter will be responsible for completing the remainder of her puppy vaccine series (DHPP and rabies). Wag On Inn will arrange for her to be spayed
at the Spay-Neuter Center in Holmdel, NJ
when she is about 6 months old The cost of this is included in her adoption fee. Adopters must live within driving distance of Holmdel. Cinnamon's adoption fee is $450.
