Starlight is a beautiful pup who is looking for a new home! Starlight is with our partner rescue in Louisiana hoping to come to NJ on our next transport. She is a beautiful brindle girl with a distinctive ridge or ruff along her spine similar to a ridgeback.

Starlight is a very playful girl who loves to run and play and would love an active family.  Starlight plays hard with other dog and may not realize her size.  She loves toys and will keep herself entertained. She is housebroken and crate trained.  She is a  polite leash walker and knows how to sit, shake, and even crates herself at mealtime!  Starlight did well on her cat test - clearly interested in the cats but not aggressive and redirected by foster mom easily.

Starlight's Louisiana foster has this to say about her:  Starlight is an absolute gem; we can’t understand why she’s had so little interest (locally and online) . Starlight “reads the room” in the fact that she’s down for zoomies in the yard OR a day of snuggles. She’s the perfect combination of playful pup and couch surfer, though we prefer when she plays because it is sooo darn cute to watch!"

Starlight is fixed, microchipped and she is up to date on vaccines. Starlight tested negative for heartworm. Her adoption fee is $450.
