Selma is now in a NJ foster home. She came to us from the Wolf Pond Sanctuary in rural Mississippi. Wolf Pond Sanctuary is closing and all of the remaining dogs need a place to go as soon as possible.
Selma was at the Sanctuary for years living in an outdoor kennel with a concrete floor. Selma was found in Selma, Alabama with a litter of puppies in an abandoned warehouse. The puppies went off for adoption in Maine but Selma was left behind.
Selma is a really good girl. It is hard to believe she spent the last several years in an outdoor kennel. She is housebroken, crate trained too and pretty good on leash. Selma is good with other dogs and also with cats. She is an easy going, sweet girl. I can't say enough good things about her! The only thing Selma does not like is car rides.
Selma is fixed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. She completed treatment for heartworm in January-February 2023 and is now ready to find her furever home! Heradoption fee is $300.
