Badger is an adorable boy who is looking for a new home! He came from a sister rescue in Louisiana but is now in a NJ foster home. He's about 7 months old and weighs about 42 lbs.  We think he'll be about 50-55 lbs full grown.

Badger is believed to be a Lab mix, but honestly - who knows?  Some see German Shepherd, even.  He's very cute, and that's what matters! He's got such a glossy coat with interesting markings, and he has great, expressive ears.

Badger can be a little timid at first with new people, but warms up quickly with some sweet talk and pets. He's been going on outings and overnights and making lots of new friends, and has been doing great. He LOVES toys and other dogs.  He and the other puppies in his NJ foster home are having a blast playing, and he's always up for a doggie play date. He's been great with the teeny puppies in his foster home - he thinks he's their size.  He enjoys going for walks and snuggling on the couch or in bed with his foster family.  He's excellent with housetraining when on a good schedule -- meaning with lots of opportunities to potty outside! He has a doggie door in his foster home and uses it but will easily learn how to ask to go out.

Badger is learning not to be worried about children -- he's happy to take treats from them, but is a little concerned because they move so quickly.

Badger would love to have another dog companion in his new home, and a yard to play in, or lots of playtime opportunities with other dogs (he IS a puppy!).

Badger is neutered and microchipped, and he is up to date on vaccines.  His adoption fee is $450.
