Casey came from NYC ACC on May 1, 2022.  Casey is a sweet senior in need of some TLC. Casey is now in a foster home in NJ.  Casey is being spayed and having a mammary mass removed on July 7th and will be available for adoption soon after. We are hopeful once spayed, the mammary masses will not reoccur.  

Casey is sweet and timid. We don't know what happened to her in the past but she is fearful of touch and will need a patient and gentle adopter who will go slow with her.  She is afraid of being leashed so a fenced yard would be ideal.  She loves spending time outside in the grass with her foster family.  She is a low maintenance kind of girl who is happy to have her own dog bed to snooze in. An adult only home without a lot of visitors is probably best for our sweet girl. She is OK with other dogs but prefers to have her food all to herself. We think she would do fine as an only dog too. She is mostly housebroken going outside or using a pee pad with an occasional accident.

Casey is current on vaccines, microchipped and has been treated for parasites, fleas, ticks, etc.  We hope to find her a loving home for the rest of her days once she is ready.   Her adoption fee is $200.
