Cash is a sweet pup who was found as a stray in Louisiana in terrible shape. His foster gave him lots of love and care and nursed him back to health. He is a happy, playful pup now who LOVES other dogs. He is currently living with cats however plays with them like a dog so most cats may not appreciate his attention!

Cash can be nervous with new people but will snuggle up to them once he is comfortable.  Cash is a clown! He apparently thinks it is a game to knock down the hanging plants in his foster home. Where he learned that? Who knows! Silly boy! Cash is protective of his home and will bark if a stranger approaches.

According to the Embark DNA kit Cash is a mix of pit bull (65%), Boxer (21%) and supermutt! He walks nicely on the leash. His foster says he is one of the easiest dogs she has ever fostered! Cash would love a home with another dog who likes to play.

Cash is  fixed, microchipped and he is up to date on vaccines. He tested negative for heartworm in February 2022.  Cash is being treated for food and environmental allergies and is on Apoquel (daily med), cytopoint injections (quarterly), and a special diet. We just started a new medication at the recommendation of the allergist at Northstar that is expected to help get his itchies under control. We are very hopeful! He may grow out of the allergy issue or he may always require  medication, allergies can be hard to predict. Cash's adoption fee is $400.
