Poor Abby was found in rough shape as a stray in southern Louisiana. Abby looked like she had been neglected for some time and was suffering from demodex mange. Abby also had a condition where one eye was smaller than normal and that eye was suffering from entropion and infection. Consequently, the veterinarian in LA removed it. She is now completely healed and it doesn't seem to slow her down at all. Abby is now in a loving foster home at the Jersey Shore. She is super sweet and loves being outside with her canine foster siblings. So a home with a fenced in yard is preferred.
Abby will be fixed in August, and she is already microchipped. She is up to date on vaccines and is current on flea, tick and heartworm prevention. She was recently treated for heartworm and has also been treated for her demodex and her hair is growing back nicely. Abby is estimated at 7-9 years old. Her adoption fee is $300.
