Fred  is a handsome hound mix who is looking for a new home.  Fred was rescued by our friends at Lake Charles Pit Bull rescue prior to the deep freeze in Louisiana. He and his friends Amelia and Doug were going to be euthanized only because the shelter has outdoor kennels with no heat.  The shelter reached out to local rescues for their dogs before the temps dropped below freezing and these 3 dogs were moved into temporary boarding.  We are working on getting them to our partner rescue in Lafayette Louisiana, getting them vetted and on our transport arriving to NJ March 6th. Fred is timid and gentle. Once he gets some love he is very sweet! 

Doug, Amelia and Fred are heartworm negative and dog friendly. Fred tested well on his cat screening with no reaction to the cats.  They will all be fixed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped before they leave Louisiana.  Their adoption fee is $400.
