My name is Jack, though my friends call me a Jack Rabbit. See I'm so silly when I walk on my leash. I start walking nice, then hop, hop, hop like a bunny. I'm a Puerto Rican Sato, a street dog. My family abandoned me at Pinones Beach where my human friend found me. She scooped me up and even though I was scared, I was gentle and friendly. I'm getting brave too. I took a plane with my dog friends from Puerto Rico to New Jersey and after we landed I went to a new foster friend who is taking care of me. I still get a little nervous if you come right at me, but if you take your time, and gently pick me up, I will snuggle with you. I really am such a gentle and friendly boy that I just need a quiet home who will build my confidence in people again. You won't be sorry as I'll snuggle with you, and walk with you and be your constant companion.
