Madison is a beautiful girl who is looking for a new home! We think she may be a Weimaraner or silver lab mix with pit bull terrier. Madison is sweet but a little timid at first. She's been through a lot and is missing her Louisiana foster family. Madison is dog friendly but needs a little time to acclimate to her new family and needs to be fed separately from other dogs. She would do best with a calm canine companion or as an only dog. She is also good on the leash, housebroken and crate trained. Madison is in a foster home in NJ. She loves butt scratches!
Madison was found in Louisiana in rough shape. Her finders reached out for help and we had her fixed, treated for heartworm and had 2 growths removed from her rear legs. The growth removal was successful and the only follow up needed is to keep an eye on her for any regrowth. Madison's x-rays were clear indicating she is in good overall health now that she's been treated for heartworm and the growths were removed. We are hoping someone with a generous heart will give her a second chance where she can really shine now that her health concerns have been addressed. The finders who had her for a while said she was OK with their cat.
Madison has been fixed, microchipped and she is up to date on vaccines. Her adoption fee is $300.
