Saffron and Martina are a unique pair of dwarf double rex rats! "Double Rex" means that their coat is thin and velvet-y. Saffron only has a light covering of super soft hair on her body while Martina has a smooth velvet coat with a cute white belly. They are dwarf rats which means they are only about 1/3 the size of a normal rat- these girls look like babies even though they are fully grown! It is also believed that dwarf rat's tend to have fewer health problems than normal rats and a lesser chance of developing tumors. 

Saffron and Martina came to us after being saved from becoming snake food. These girls are super playful and affectionate- they love to run around and explore! Martina and Saffron MUST be adopted out together- their adoption fee is $30.
