Sadie is a very lonely and mellow spayed female pastel calico with sad green eyes that reflect a difficult past. She is about 3 years old, vaccinated and in good health. She is negative for FIV/LEUK. This attention-seeking love bug needs a quiet forever home, preferably without children where she can learn to play and trust and be a spoiled lap cat.

In February she was rescued from being abandoned in the streets of No. Philadelphia. She was almost gray with grit and the skin of her ear tips were embedded with asphalt. Someone once loved her because she desperately wants to sit on laps and be near people. However, she may also have been abused because she never meows, is hesitant to play, and is unnaturally frightened of sudden movements, raised hands and loud voices.

Sadie’s once-starved frame has expanded because of her lack of exercise and company. For six months she has been kept in one room because of the other resident cats at her foster home. Sadie needs exercise and wants company.
