Hospice Home Needed. Wallie was surrendered to the NYC shelter system because his owners didn't have time for him. Turns out this poor boy has been neglected for a long time. Wallie came to us in a liver crisis and his foster mom has been working with our veterinarians to get Wallie feeling better. She did an excellent job nursing him back to health and he is now feeling much better; however, Wallie will require medication and a special liver diet for the rest of his life to help maintain his liver values. We can't say what the future might hold for Wallie but all dogs need homes and families, even the sick ones. Wallie is already neutered, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. His adoption fee is donation only.
