Taz has quite the story! He was seen running around an exit ramp on a Louisiana highway for a couple of weeks. Our friends at Precious Paw Prints in Louisiana did not give up and finally got our little guy to safety. He is very fearful at this time (and a little snappy because of it) but they are working to earn his trust and teach him that humans can be loving and caring. We are hoping to work on Taz's socialization and get him to NJ in August if we can find a foster or adopter. He will be fixed, up to date on vaccines and microchipped before he comes to NJ. He is heartworm positive and will require treatment at our partner vet in Barnegat, NJ. His adoption fee is $400 which includes his heartworm treatment. Taz is a flight risk and will require some extra precautions for his safety.
