Munchkin is here in NJ. Munchkin and his friends were previously living with a breeder in LA - however, several dogs were removed from that breeder at the time of her last inspection due to the unacceptable conditions.
Munchkin needs an adopter who has the time, understanding, and patience to practice love and positive reinforcement. The adopter will earn his trust and he will love them.
Muchkin is quite the character, and he is as cute as can be! His foster mom says he looks like Steve Buscemi! We're told that he loves to eat. He picks a favorite person and sticks to them, and is cautious with those he perceives as visitors (even when they do actually live in the house!)
Munchkin does need a few minutes to warm up to you. He can be calm and quiet and then feisty the next second. Munchkin must go to a home without children because he can be nippy; his foster home is working with him on that. He takes a little while to settle in to a family situation, and would be happiest in a quiet home.
Munchkin definitely needs at least one other dog in the home, though. He is living with several now, and he likes to follow their lead. He gets frantic if he doesn't see them.
Munchkin has been fixed, microchipped and he is up to date on vaccines. He tested heartworm negative.
Munchkin's adoption fee is $400.
